Judd Thompson’s Noble Kitty pressed the pace before forging past the leader in the final strides to win at Beulah Park on Saturday. Five Ohio-bred fillies and mares clashed as Goodys Summer dashed to the lead with her four foes tracking intently off her flank in second through fifth. At the top of the lane Goodys Summer began to drift towards the center of the track while being challenged by Stanbery Lane to her inside and Noble Kitty to her outside. Sticking her nose in front in the final strides Noble Kitty was able to come away with the victory. Winning by a nose Noble Kitty covered the six furlongs over the fast track in 1:15 4/5.

Ridden by Yuri Yaranga for trainer Daniel Thompson, Noble Kitty returned $26.00, $4.60 and $2.40. Goodys Summer battled gamely for second and paid $2.10 and $2.10. Misty Sabin stalked the pace to finish third and returned her backers $2.10.

Six allowance runners battled as One Way Out and Magic Conqueror dueled through the opening furlongs. At the top of the lane One Way Out began to fade and Generously emerged with the lead inside the final 100 yards. Winning by 2 lengths, Generously covered the five furlongs over the fast track in 1:00 3/5.

Owner-trainer Ivan Vazquez’s Affirmlode took to the front early was passed midway through the lane and still managed to re-rally to win the Wednesday feature. Six allowance runners battled as Affirmlode grabbed the lead and pulled away from the field in the opening stages. Appearing defeated in the final furlong, Affirmlode found another gear and turned back the challenge of the late-closing Rose Wars and Jeramiah John. Winning by a neck Affirmlode covered the one mile over the fast track in 1:43.

Ridden by Jorge Collazo, Jr., Affirmlode paid $10.20, $4.40 and $3.20. Rose Wars dug in gamely for second and return $3.00 and $2.20. Jeramiah John dueled on for third and paid his backers $2.80.

Scioto Farm’s Catlaunch took the lead from the break of the gate and dashed away to victory on Tuesday at Beulah Park. Six allowance horses set sail as Catlaunch, pressed intently by Cruzcat through the early fractions began to edge away slowly. With less that 200 yards to run Catlaunch shook clear of his opponent and powered away to an 11 ¾ length win.

Ridden by Jose Sanchez, Jr. for trainer Ivan Vazquez, Catlaunch paid $15.00, $5.80 and $4.20. Xtra Jack stalked the pace to finish second and returned $3.40 and $2.40. Cruzcat faded to third and returned his back backers $2.80.
