Pain In The Bragg Finds Comfort in Beulah Feature

JSR Stables, Inc.’s One Way Out moved to his customary spot on the lead and never looked back in his feature race win on Friday. Eight veterans of the claiming ranks did battle as One Way Out dashed to the front. Winning by five lengths, One Way Out covered the six furlongs over the sloppy track in 1:11 2/5.

Ridden by Ramon Rechy for trainer Jake Radosevich, One Way Out paid $13.40, $5.60 and $4.40. Mize closed well for second and returned $6.20 and $6.40. True Bet also closed well to gain the third spot and paid his backers $9.00

Live racing returns to Beulah Park on Saturday with eight live races. First post time is 1:15 p.m.

'Magic' Casts Spell Over Foes

Owner-trainer Robert Roe’s Magic Afleet took control from the start and dashed away to a convincing win in the Wednesday feature from Beulah Park. Seven allowance fillies and mares battled as Magic Afleet sprinted to the front with Slim Justice stalking in second. With ease Magic Afleet strolled away to a 2 length victory. The running time for the six furlongs over the fast track was 1:12.

Ridden by Joseph Sanchez, Magic Afleet paid $10.60, $4.80 and $3.20. Goodys Summer closed strongly for second and returned $4.00 and $3.40. Slim Justice faded to third and returned her backers $3.60.

Cruzable Cruises to Victory at Beulah

Double D Farm Corp.’s Cruzable dueled intently with an early foe before powering away to victory in the Tuesday feature at Beulah Park. Seven Ohio-bred allowance runners battled as Cruzable and Batten the Hatches squared off with Peggys Favorite tracking the leaders from third. With less than a furlong to run Cruzable began to stride away from the field en route to a 1 ¾ length win. The running time for the 5 ½ furlongs was 1:06 3/5.

Piloted by Weldon Cloninger, Jr. for trainer Jevon Crumley, Cruzable paid $3.60, $2.20, $2.10. Peggys Favorite finished well for second and returned $2.20 and $2.10. Chief Runamuck closed strongly for third and had a payoff of $3.60.

Owner-trainer Patricia Bragg’s J. R’s Town pressed the early pace before taking charge and drawing away at Beulah Park. Seven Ohio-bred claimers battled as Disappearance took the lead with J. R’s Town glued to his flank in second. Moving towards the lane J. R’s Town powered past his tiring rival and dashed away to a 3 ½ length victory. The running time for the six furlongs over the fast track was 1:12 4/5.

Ridden by Jose Calo, J. R’s Town paid $5.40, $3.60 and $2.80. Do the Deal finished third but was moved up to second and returned $9.20 and $4.20. Heat Seeker was disqualified to third and paid his backers $2.40.
