Slew Adieu Bids Adieu To Competition In Feature

Slew Adieu used a change of tactics to his advantage to win the featured
race at Beulah Park on Saturday. Eight Ohio bred allowance runners faced-off
as Safe Place, P.A. McGuerty and Finders Chance dueled for the early lead.
Settling at the back of the pack for the first time, Slew Adieu swung wide
at the top of the lane and drove past the leaders inside the final 70 yards
to win by a length. The running time for the six furlongs over the fast
track was 1:16 2/5.
Ridden by Mark Slaven for
trainer David England, Slew Adieu paid $13.00, $4.60 and $4.40. Safe Place
dug in gamely to hold on to second and returned $2.80 and $2.40 as the
wagering favorite. Finders Chance fought on to finish third and had a payoff
of $3.40.

My Buddy Rob Gamely Wins Beulah Park Feature

Rob fought back gamely to win the featured race at Beulah Park on Friday.
Eight claimers dueled as My Buddy Rob darted to the front early before Dee
Double Ya Dan collared him in the first furlong. Unfazed by the challenger,
My Buddy Rob re-rallied and took control as the field turned into the home
stretch. My Buddy Rob drew away to a 1¼ length victory in a running time of
1:16 2/5 for the six furlongs over the muddy track.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez
for trainer Reid Gross, My Buddy Rob paid $5.40, $3.60 and $2.80 as the
wagering favorite. Dee Double Ya Dan dug in gamely for second and returned
$11.80 and $6.20. Staunton closed strongly for third and had a payoff of
$3.00.

Second Shift Gets The Job Done In Beulah Feature

Cundiff’s Second Shift pressed a hotly contested pace before pulling away
from the field in the Wednesday feature at Beulah Park. Seven starter
allowance foes dueled as R Nurse C, Second Shift and Sweet Chere all battled
in the early stages. Turning for home Second Shift put away the competition
and drew off to a 1-¾-length victory. The running time for the 5½ furlongs
over the fast track was 1:08 4/5.
Ridden by Marco Ccamaque,
Second Shift paid $8.00, $4.20 and $3.60. Twisted Feather closed strongly
for second and returned $3.40 and $3.20. R Nurse C faded to third and had a
payoff of $5.00.

One Bad Dude Solid In Victory At Beulah Park

Tabler’s One Bad Dude made his return to Beulah Park a victorious one by
winning the featured race on Tuesday. Five allowance/optional claming horses
squared off as One Bad Dude took command easily and drew away to a
convincing nine lengths. The running time for the 1-mile over the fast track
was 1:44 2/5.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez,
One Bad Dude returned $5.80, $3.80 and $3.00 as the wagering favorite. Scout
Me closed from last to finish second and paid $4.20 and $3.00. Divorce
Lawyer Jay stalked the pace before fading to third and returned his backers
$4.20.

Aces And Eights Plays His Cards Right In Feature

Ricardo Benites’ Aces and
Eights(Per) used his tactical speed to his advantage to trump the field in
the featured race on Monday from Beulah Park. Making is second start in four
days, Aces and Eights(Per) settled behind the fast early fractions set by
Dr. E. Claire before reeling in the tiring pacesetter at the top of the
lane. Aces and Eights(Per) drew away from the other six runners in the
allowance contest to win by 1½ lengths. The running time for the 1 mile over
the good track was 1:46 2/5.
Ridden by Juan Enriquez
for trainer Dante Zanelli, Aces and Eights(Per) paid $5.40, $3.80 and $2.40.
Longshot A Ruff Way to Go closed strongly for second and returned $20.20 and
$9.40. Two Rows of Gold finished strongly for third and returned his backers
$5.00.
In other racing news,
despite being unseated by his mount in the third race, Edgar Paucar managed
to keep his hot streak going by booting home three winners on the Monday
Card. Hailing from Lima, Peru, Paucar won the first, fourth and sixth races
on the program.
