Kais Reward Tops Beulah Feature

Anita Fister’s Kais Reward
closed with a rush from the rear of the field to win the Wednesday feature
at Beulah Park. Eleven Ohio bred allowance runners dueled as Money Train and
Trick of the Trade clashed on the front end. Moving through the lane Kais
Reward swung into action and flew pass the pacesetters in the final 100
yards. Winning by a nose, Kais Reward covered the six furlongs over the fast
track in 1:10 3/5.
Piloted by Paul Melancon for trainer Alan White, Kais Reward returned $6.00,
$4.00 and $3.00 as the wagering favorite. Slim Kim finished a strong second
and paid $3.80 and $2.40. There was a dead heat for third between Trick of
the Trade($2.20) and Now Navajo($8.80).
This concludes live racing at Beulah Park for the 2005 racing season. Jake
Radosevich took top training honors for the meet and Edgar Paucar led the

Record-Setting Performance By Littlemagbrother In Final Leg Of Bluegrass
Warrior Distance Series

M.Y. Stables, Inc.,
Littlemagbrother settled comfortably behind a swift early pace before
charging to the front in the feature at Beulah Park. Eleven classy claimers
clashed as Merryhadalilwolf took charge and drew off early. Midway down the
backside Merryhadalilwolf faded as Oreo Hunter assumed the lead. At the top
of the lane Oreo Hunter began to edge away before Littlemagbrother dashed by
in the final 200 yards for a 5 length victory. The running time of 3:25 3/5
for the 2 mile distance breaks the old record of 3:27 2/4 set by Ball Hawk
in 1952.
Ridden by Edgar Paucar for trainer Mike Nance, Littlemagbrother paid $4.80,
$3.20 and $2.40. Oreo Hunter finished second and returned $18.00 and $10.80.
Cowboy’s Limelight closed well for third and had a payoff of $4.60

seven program. Wednesday is closing day and fan appreciation day at Beulah
Park. Free admission and parking as well as dollar hot dogs and specials all

Bluegrass Warrior Distance Series Tuesday at Beulah Park.
Just Michel Wins $20,000 Samuel Handicap

M.Y. Stables, Inc.’s Just
Michel closed strongly from the back of the pack to win her second
consecutive Samuel Handicap at Beulah Park. Seven combatants clashed as
Korbyn Gold dashed to the lead and set wickedly fast early fractions.
Turning for home, the early pace took its toll as Korbyn Gold faded and Just
Michel forged to the front in the final furlong. Winning by a neck, Just
Michel covered the six furlongs over the fast track in a speedy 1:09 3/5.
Pushing her record to six for ten lifetime at Beulah Park, The 5-year-old
daughter of Pacific Waves claimed her third stakes victory of the 2005
racing season. Bred in Ohio by The South River Ranch Inc., Just Michel’s
career earnings have jumped to over $280,000.
Ridden by Edgar Paucar for trainer Mike Nance, Just Michel paid $8.80, $5.80
and $3.80. City Rapid stormed home for second and returned $11.20 and $5.20.
Catlaunch, part of the early pace, faded to third and returned his backers
$4.60.

J Hall Passes All To Win Feature

stalked the leaders before swinging into action to be victorious in the
Wednesday feature at Beulah Park. Seven Ohio bred allowance runners set sail
as Notice of Appeal shot to the lead with Cuddlebrink close to his flank in
second. Near the top of the lane J Hall began to reel in the pacesetters and
forged to the front with less than 20 yards to run. Winning by a nose, J
Hall ran the six furlongs over the fast track in a swift 1:09 3/5.
Ridden by Edgar Paucar for trainer Wayne Mogge, J Hall returned $12.40,
$4.40 and $3.40. Notice of Appeal finished a game second and paid $3.40 and
$3.40. Dare He Goes closed strongly for third and had a payoff of $4.40.

Sweet Taste Of Victory For 'Tiki' At Beulah

Scuderia Savona’s Tiki Sweet
settled comfortably off the pace before surging to the lead in the Tuesday
feature at Beulah Park. Twelve claimers battled as Bee Honey, Air Forbes and
Double D Money dueled for the early lead. Midway down the home stretch Air
Forbes took command before Tiki Sweet dashed by with less than 70 yards to
run. Winning by a nose, Tiki Sweet covered the six furlongs over the fast
track in 1:10 2/5.
Ridden by Ramon Luna for trainer Dante Zanelli, Sr., Tiki Sweet paid $21.60,
$10.80 and $7.80. Air Forbes faded to second and returned $5.00 and $3.00.
Bee Honey finished third and paid his backers $11.00.
