Paucar Wins Four Races On Beulah Program

Grove City, Ohio  – Beulah Park’s leading jockey Edgar Paucar extended his lead in the jockey’s race by piloting home four winners on the Saturday Beulah Park program. The 29-year-old Lima, Peru native reeled off three straight wins with Meggy Girl ($6.40) in race three, Watch Me Leave ($4.40) in the fourth and Thinksheshot ($5.60) in the fifth race. Paucar closed out the card by winning the finale with Proudtobeahalfterm ($8.00).

Hailing from the famed riding school that produced racing stars Edgar Prado and Rafael Bejarano, Paucar began his United States career at the Massachusetts Fair Circuit, Paucar shifted his tact to Suffolk Downs near Boston, Massachusetts. Paucar is married and looks to use his experience at Beulah to springboard him greater success. Beulah Park races five days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. First post time is set for 1:15 p.m.
