Papa’s Prize First 3-Year-Old
To Beat Elders At Beulah Park

Grove City, Ohio  – Jac Tomasello’s Papa’s Prize broke his maiden in style by being the first 3-year-old to defeat older horses in the first race at Beulah Park on Friday. The son of Catienus out of the Nijinsky II mare Nijinsky Queen, Papa’s Prize settled just behind the quick pace of Valid Chad. Drawing off to win by 2 ¼ lengths, Papa’s Prize ($7.20) covered the 1 mile and 70 yards in 1:44 2/5.

Bred in Kentucky by recent Eclipse Award winning owners, Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Papa’s Prize was ridden by Ivan Gonzalez for trainer Jake Radosevich.

Beulah Park races five days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with a first post time of 1:15 p.m.
